A BUSY WEEKEND!!

We had a fast paced weekend…..On Friday we went to the pumpkin patch with the MOMS Club and then on Saturday we drove up to Traci’s parent’s cabin in Chama and stayed there until Monday afternoon.   The pumpkin patch was fun….the kids really enjoyed picking out their own pumpkin.  When we got home Riley actually took a nap with her pumpkin.  Here are pictures of us at the pumpkin patch:

Our weekend up in Chama was really cool.   The drive up there we were able to see the trees all turning colors between Espanola and TA.   We went and saw the Chama train again (2nd time this year)….was able to climb around the train cars and up into the caboose.   The kids loved being able to climb around and run around the train tracks.   We also hung out at the river in the afternoon….throwing rocks and sticks in the river.    HOWEVER the trip up to Chama was actually BITTERSWEET.   Traci’s  parents have had the cabin up for sale for almost three years and finally received an offer this last week…..so our main reason to go up there this weekend was to meet the home inspection guy and bring back the things we wanted to keep.   If the sale goes through it will be somewhat a relief for the parents as they are unable to keep up with it but also sad as it has been a part of the family for over 25 years……lots of good memories and fun times.   Here are some pictures of our trip to Chama…….
