Happy Thanksgiving!!

We had a very good Thanksgiving...we were pretty lazy all day and then went to Grandma and Grandpa Lane's house for Turkey dinner. Jake and Ry were able to eat first Turkey dinner (being that it's their 2nd Thanksgiving)....Turkey, stuffing, corn bake, potatoes, jello. YUMMMO!!!! They really liked it!!! We were able to enjoy the fire as it was pretty cold out...Jake and Ry liked watching the flames. Then we just hung out with Grandma and Grandpa the rest of the evening. We really are looking forward to this Christmas as Jake and Ry will be more lively then last year. We hope that everyone else had a good Thanksgiving.

Finally....a Birthday cake for Ry

Riley finally was able to enjoy her Birthday cake on Sunday night....she picked off the frosting and wanted to eat that rather then any of the cake. Of course....Jake was able to help out with eating and enjoying part of it. Jake has become the expert of eating and stuffing the face. We all are now almost recovered from the sickness and hoping that we are all well for a long while.

Happy FIRST Birthday Ry and Jake

We really enjoyed Riley and Jake's First Birthday!! We had their party on Saturday with family and close friends so that we wouldn't overwhelm the twins too much. We had pizza, opened a lot of great presents, and ate some good cake. Jake enjoyed the attention and seemed like he was showing off a bit...blabbing a lot, really getting into his cake, and playing with his presents. Jake usually does really well with people once he gets used to everything. Riley enjoyed the begining of the party with her presents; then unfortunately became ill (throwing up throughout the evening). She didn't want her cake; so we have saved it for her and will let her dig in when she is feeling better...we'll post those pictures when she does. Thank you to all of you that gave them gifts...they are really enjoying all of them.
