Bathroom remodel

In June we decided the next project we would jump into was to remodel our master bath.   It has taken awhile to get it done and it still isn’t completely done…..but we are getting there.  We pretty much gutted the whole bathroom and prepped it for having someone come out and do the vanity and surrounds of the bath and shower.    So here are a few before and after shots.   We still have to tile the floor which will be slate tile, tile the shower floor, have the shower doors put in, do paint touch ups and finish some shelves….but we are over half way there.    It looks awesome and now back to being excited about it and looking forward to it being completely done so that we can conquer another project!    (click picture to enlarge)

Christmas 2010

Jake and Ry were really excited about Santa this year and received everything they asked for and a lot more!   They had a really good Christmas and celebrated with both sets of grandparents.   We did miss visiting other family (aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, and our niece) this year that weren’t able to get out, but hopefully will see soon.   We did go through some nasty sickness a week before Christmas, but thankfully everyone was doing well on Christmas day.  Here are a few pictures (click to enlarge).
