Hangin' with the big kids

This week we were able to go to our friend's son's baseball game. Although dad and mom didn't get to watch too much of the game; Ry and Jake enjoyed hanging out with the big kids and getting really dirty!! There are days like these that we think they are growing up too fast!!

Our little "picasos"

Recently Riley and Jake are loving painting, coloring, etc. They color with chalk on their chalkboard table as well as outside on the sidewalk. They like to also paint with water outside all over everything. We are looking into getting real paint and markers soon!! (how do you like our shirts?? "TWINS ROCK!!")

SLIDE!!

Ry and Jake now have their first slide/climber for the backyard....mom actually bought it used off ebay...not a bad deal!!!! Jake and Ry love climbing all over it and sending any object down the slide...cars, rocks, siblings :0)

First trip to the zoo

On Friday we took Riley and Jacob to the zoo for the first time....I think we were more excited about taking them then they were excited about being there. They liked watching the seals, prarie dogs, elephants, polar bears, and gorillas....well....only for a minute then it was off to the next thing. Their favorite thing (again like the aquarium) was running around in the grass and watching everyone else. It was a really nice day outside and we all enjoyed definitely getting out. Oh yeah....they also had their first happy meal from McDonalds...needless to say they ate mostly french fries and chocolate milk for lunch.
