Botanical gardens and aquarium trip

Last weekend we headed out and went to the aquarium and botanical gardens. Jacob and Riley really liked it....they would look at all the fish, point, and make their fish noise and then on to the next fish. They really liked being outside and running around in the grass and around the gardens. There were groups of older kids and Jake and Ry really wanted to go join them and run around...but walking around and falling in the grass with dad had to do for the time...as the other kids were too fast. Their favorite part was either running in the grass or watching the train!! We can't wait for the weather to warm up more and venture out to the zoo...that's going to be cool.

Wow....about a year

It's amazing how fast babies grow and learn....these pictures are about a year apart from each other. AMAZING!!! I sometimes go back and look at their pictures from a year ago and see how much they have changed....it's pretty crazy!!

Duck, Duck....Goose!!!!

We found a really cool duck pond near our house....has 50-60 ducks and they will get so close to you and eat from your hand. It's really pretty cool and the twins like going and watching all the ducks, playing in the grass, and trying to get into the water.

Jake and Ry are on the move and both have funny and unique personalities...they also are starting to copy and compete with each other. The pictures are of Jake vacuuming...he really likes his dog vaccuum; Riley reading in her book basket, and of them being hilarious----they decided one night to walk around and hold their cups in their mouths with no hands (of course we fogot to video it, but did take pictures).
