Walking and growing

Jacob and Riley are both walking!!!! They are still in the begining stages and look like they are drunkin' toddlers. They both walk a few feet at a time and then fall down, get back up, and continue their adventure. They both are VERY proud of themselves too (they clap for themselves and wait for you to clap with them); which is way too cute. Riley has been making some funny faces and Jake thinks it's cool to point at everything. Of course they have also been working on trying to tantrum when told "no" and get their way, but dad and mom are trying their hardest not to give into the tantrums (when in public it's a little bit harder). They are so funny to be around and eventhough we all like the cold weather and snow; we can't wait for it to be a little warmer so that we can be outside more and more. We will post a walking video VERY SOON.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

It's been a crazy month for us and I'm sure for everyone else...but back to working on keeping up with the blog. Christmas and New Years went by fast; but we were able to visit family/friends and have a little down time to relax. Jacob and Riley enjoyed their Christmas and love all their new toys!!! They liked opening presents but did get overwhelmed after awhile so mom and dad finished opening presents for them...next year they will be trying to open everyone elses. They were able to finally meet their Uncle Kevin, Aunt Malena, and cousin Anna for the first time...which was very nice as we miss them and don't see them too much. They warmed up to their Aunt, Uncle, and cousin pretty quick and liked playing with them. The New Year wasn't too exciting for us this year...we were all asleep (yeah). LAST year we were awake with 2 hungry babies and rang in the New Year with them.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and CHEERS to the NEW YEAR!!!!!!
