RockBand beginers...

A couple weeks ago, Jake and Ry saw the RockBand drum set in the corner and decided they wanted to play... After a little warm up (first video clip), they were ready to jam out (second video clip). After a bit Jake decided that Ry needed a little instruction (last part of video). I better keep practicing, or these kids will be better than me in no time...

Our little guy is pretty cute (even if I do say so myself)... We caught him on video a couple weeks back and just thought we would share it...

A Tribute...

The last post was titled "A few of my favorite things" - but I left someone off on purpose. This person deserves more than just her own post, but that's all I can do in this forum. She is so incredible, in so many ways... A mother, a friend, a wife... She does so much for our family, and asks so little. A couple years ago she went through a lot and made some big sacrifices to bring us little Riley and Jacob, and now she brought us our little surprize - Parker. A mom's job is not easy, and it doesn't end at 5pm, especially with a new little one in the house. She will never know how much she means to me...

A Retraction...

It seems that I may have jumped the gun in my 'Parker Evan' post...

He didn't open his eyes much that day, and they looked really dark, so I assumed that they would be brown. Much to Traci's delight, although they are dark right now, they appear to be BLUE.

Painting Parker's room

Dad, Jake, and Ry all painted Parker's room these past few days. We hadn't painted the nursery yet as we didn't know if Parker was going to be a boy or girl....but now that he is here and Dad has time off we are getting a lot of stuff done around the house as well as getting spoiled by having dad's help all the time. Jake and Ry really enjoyed having their own paint brush and their own painting job to do.
