35 weeks pregnant....and the countdown starts

We are now 35 weeks pregnant and extremely happy and fortunate that this has been a "boring and normal" pregnancy. Traci couldn't wait to get this far in the pregnancy....the doctors consider 35 weeks as good and don't do anything to stop labor if it occurs past this point. Traci has been most relieved since the past doctor appointment went well and feeling good. Blood pressure is normal, weight is good, baby sounds good......so the big day is coming soon!!! The end of February we should have a new addition to the family!!! We continue to talk to Jake and Ry about the baby....they have moved their room to the bigger room ("big kids room) have thrown away pacifiers a few months ago, and are starting to work on potty training. When talking about "baby" they say they want to hold it, rock it, feed it, change it's diaper, and oh yeah of course "play cars"....when asking them what the baby's name is they call it "purple". We will continue to pray/have good thoughts and anticipate what a third baby will bring to the Hobart family!!! We'll keep everyone updated!!!

Finally...Jake's train

A little over a week ago we finally were able to get Jake's train set and train table!! He loves it and plays either trains or cars/trucks....total boy!! Riley enjoys playing with it as well but definitely not as much as Jake. They still are having a lot of fun with all the new toys...keeps them busy most of the day. Here's a couple pictures of Jake's train.

The month of December!!!

This past month was busy of course....Dad was able to be off work for two whole weeks which we were all excited about. Within those two weeks we were able to have a lot of fun....getting ready for Christmas, visiting lots of family, having fun at Christmas and New Years, visiting more family, having a cold (that wasn't as much fun....of course it came on Christmas day), eating, making Christmas decorations and cookies, walking around looking at Christmas lights, visiting with friends, eating, playing with A LOT of new toys. The most exciting were of course all the new toys.....the big toys included Santa bringing Riley a kitchen and Jake a train set/train table....however Santa "blew it" and the train set isn't here yet. On Christmas eve the Santas realized that the toys R us train box was the wrong one (which one Santa had a few choice words about that mistake) and only had the train table....so we are waiting patiently for toys R us to have a train set for Jake's Christmas. We were thankful this year that Jake and Ry still really didn't know what was going on and Jake didn't realize that he was missing his big present from Santa...he just played with Ry's Kitchen and all the new hot wheels he received. G/G Lane gave them a lot of toys plus a new trike/bike, G/G Hobart bought them an easel which they use everyday. Here are some pictures over the past month that everyone can enjoy. We hope everyone had a Blessed Christmas and good New Year.
