It’s been a long while….

Okay…..It’s been a very long while since last time I blogged.   We’ve been pretty busy, but also I have been unmotivated.   My goal is to blog more like I had been doing so I can share what the kids have been up to with everyone….they grow up so fast!

Jake and Ry are now over 3 1/2 (crazy!) and have huge imaginations!   They say the funniest things, make up the cutest/funniest stories, and are getting into playing physical games more (tag, d-d-goose, chase, wrestling)  and are so smart!!   Of course Jake still really loves cars/trucks….Ry loves dogs.    They will be starting preschool in August…will go for a couple of days a week in the morning.   I’m hoping that they will really enjoy it!  Jake and Ry are really good with Parker.   DSC_0017 DSC_0039

Parker is now 15 months and doing really well.  He is toddling around the house but continues to want to hold fingers when he is somewhere unfamiliar.    He says “mama”, “dada”, “uh-oh”,  he knows how to make car noises (courtesy of Jake!), and knows how to scream (courtesy of Riley).   He makes the funniest faces, loves cars/trucks,  and really likes being chased by brother and sister.   They all have really good relationships with each other so far!   It’s really cool to see how they interact with each other….well….except for the fights.   Now if we could just get Parker out of the stranger anxiety phase that he has been in for the past year it seems like…..

Soccer

Riley and Jacob have been in soccer for a few months now.  We started off with the parent-child class, but then switched them to the bigger class.  The class they are in now they participate without mom and dad….they are doing really well and like going.   The coaches are excellent with them….especially coach J (they really like him a lot).  We are hoping this will get them a little more ready with preschool which they start in August.

Jake is in the white shirt/gray pants.  Ry is in the blue shirt/dark pants (ribbons in hair).   The last picture is of Parker….he hangs out and kicks the ball around while brother and sister are playing.  Parker is toddling around the house by himself but still demands holding onto fingers while walking when not at home.
